The Company Car Drive’s third edition, organized by GL events Italy and Econometrica with the patronage of A.I.A.G.A. – Associazione Italiana Acquirenti e Gestori di Auto Aziendali – at the Autodromo Nazionale of Monza (the last 14th and 15th of May 2014) confirmed as the company cars landmark event in Italy.

The 602 fleet managers participants have tried on 4 different tracks, designed to test all driving conditions, the 183 cars provided by the attending automotive brands: Audi, BMW, BMWi, Dacia, Ford, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, Kia, Land Rover, Maserati, Mazda, Mercedes-Benz, Mini, Nissan, Porsche, Renault, Seat, Skoda, smart, Volkswagen, Volvo.

3,357 test drives made: it is reconfirmed the success of the red track which takes place on the track of the F1 Grand Prix and which allows to experiment safely the highway driving conditions; the unreleased track off road has seen an increase of over 50% of test drives carried out: in addition to the possibility to drive through a high-speed part of the track, a technical area was prepared where the instructors of the FIF – Italian Federation of Off-Road Vehicle – assisted the fleet managers in the performance of specific exercises on equipped runways. The external track has seen an increase of 35 %, confirming Company Car Drive as the benchmark manifestation for the realistic use of the test cars.

Assigned the Fleet Italy Awards, the awards for the best experiences for fleet management of company cars in 2013. The winners of the third edition of the Fleet Italy Awards sponsored by ARVAL and promoted by A.I.A.G.A. – Italian Association of Managers and Buyers Company Cars, GL events Italy and Econometrica, are in the different categories: Mauro Russo (EniServizi Spa) winner of the Fleet Italy Manager of the Year, Nicholas Dentamaro (Gas Natural Spa Italy) winner of the Fleet Italy Safety Quality Environment Award and Carlo Bertolini (Chiesi Farmaceutici SpA) winner of the Fleet Italy Mobility Award.

Innovation of the 2014 edition, the International Workshop “Fleet International Best Practices and Trends”, which was attended by the top leaders of the associations of fleet managers in North America, Great Britain, Belgium and Italy to discuss the most important trends in the company cars’ sector of the main European and world markets .
